The de Baugy family have owned and operated transport businesses around Western Australia for over 38 years, From commencing their first Transport Business with one van, they have successfully grown businesses over their journey by developing a reputation of ensuring everything we do is done right the first time

 

1989 – Established

2001 – Total Western Transport (Agency Appointment for Toll West & Star Track Express)

2001 – Acquisition Of Giacci Freight

2002 – Sprint Express Established

2011 – Appointed Agent for Country Carriers Consortium

2014 – Acquisition Of Ron’s Express Run

2021 –

From small beginnings in Bunbury WA – this family business grew into one of the region’s most recognised transport companies. Sprint Express commenced business in 2002 as a division under Total Western Transport. The family decided to sell off Total Western Transport and to focus on Sprint Express, and from there on has continued to grow due to customer demands. Today our fleet consists of Vans, Tail Lift Fitted Rigids, Prime Movers and Specialised Trailers to meet our customers needs. Sprint Express prides itself on customer care and service is our only goal.

Being a proud West Australian Local Family Managed and Owned Business – we go over and above what is required to make sure every job is done 100% correct and on time every time. To build value and capability in the business the family had also made a number of strategic investments including the acquisition of Giacci Freight in 2002 and Ron’s Express Run in 2014, a move that underpinned the business entry into the South West Market.

Now, as one of WA’s most diverse Transport Groups, Sprint Express is aware that in order to retain our position of leadership , we must continue to meet the rapidly changing needs of commerce and industry.

Sprint Express have an on going commitment to actively seeking and developing new and better ways to perform the services we offer and, if possible, at a higher level of reliability and cost-efficiency than before.

We now boast an extensive fleet operating both locally in Bunbury and now the Perth Metro Area and across our regional network including Manjimup, Harvey, Busselton, Margaret River and Kemerton. Vehicles range in size from 2T vans, through medium and heavy rigid enclosed trucks to B-Double configuration and Semi-Trailers.

Sprint Express is still family owned and managed by its founder Mr Ivan de Baugy, son Josh, as well as experienced and dedicated industry professionals have joined Ivan to make up the senior management team.
